Daimler: Class A laboratory

"The best or nothing." is the slogan of Daimler. And this also applies to the car manufacturer's partners and suppliers, which include RIO GmbH.
In February 2019, RIO GmbH was appointed by Daimler as an approved laboratory for method category "A" with certificate number 39109. The approval covers flammability tests according to DBL 5307, scratch resistance tests according to DBL 7382, chip resistance tests according to DBL 7399, cyclic corrosion tests according to DIN EN ISO 11997-1, CASS tests according to DIN EN ISO 9227, evaluations of coatings according to MBN 10494-6 and filiform corrosion tests on painted aluminium parts according to MBN 10494-6.

The first recertification has already been completed, and the certificate number valid from March 2020 is 39639.
