UV/VIS - Visable Ultraviolett Spectrometry

Using our UV/VIS spectrometer we can measure liquid samples in cuvettes made of quartz glass or plastic. UV/VIS spectrometry is based on measurable differences in intensity of ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared light in the wavelength range from around 200 nm up to 1100 nm.

RIO GmbH carries out, among other things, Cr-VI determination in accordance with DIN EN 15205. In this test the hexavalent chrome bound in a red-violet complex by diphenylcarbazide and determined qualitatively at 540 nm.
